Message from the First VP:

It is time for the education community to recognize the high standards and excellent resources that NCSM members (researchers, educators, leaders, and supervisors) bring to the field of mathematics education. As a second vice president, my role involves coordinating and organizing the program at the annual meetings. These meetings provide us with an opportunity to take a stronger leadership role in the greater education community, and I propose that it is time to get the word out. Through our conferences, we can engage the larger community on local, national, and international levels and be seen as important collaborative partners in improving mathematics education.
