Message from the Director: My love of teaching began in elementary school with participation in Future Teachers of America. The love continued to grow through the years as I taught mathematics in various schools and districts. As a supervisor it has been my desire to help teachers to become more knowledgeable about mathematics content as well as the effective delivery of instruction. I have supervised the mathematics curriculum and instruction for grades 6-12; facilitated the Professional Educators' Induction Program for newly hired mathematics teachers, and have monitored the use of curriculum documents and resources used in the mathematics classrooms. I have dedicated time to helping future teachers and new teachers to succeed in the classroom. Teaching is an honorable profession and I believe that continuous improvement in instruction and leadership is essential.
